Fire Protection System Repair & Troubleshooting

Diagnosis, repairs, parts and restoration

Everything between the scheduled inspections — trouble calls, deficiency repairs and parts replacement.

Trouble and ground-fault diagnosis

A panel in trouble is a system telling you something specific. We read the history, chase the circuit, and fix the cause — not silence the buzzer.

Deficiency repair

Findings from our inspections or anyone else's, priced and approved before we start, closed out and documented.

The four-year parts

Batteries, links, gauges and seals all have service lives shorter than the system's. We replace them on schedule, before they take the system down.

Discharge and fire restoration

Discharge recharges, post-fire restoration, freeze damage — back in service fast.

Fire Protection System Repair & Troubleshooting

24/7 emergency service

The emergency line is answered by a technician with your records in front of them — not an answering service.

Priority dispatch for contract customers

A tech who already knows your building, your systems and your history, dispatched day or night. Guidance starts on the phone; some panels can be stabilized before the truck arrives.

Fire watch guidance

When a system has to come down, we help you stand up a compliant fire watch and coordinate with your AHJ so occupancy never becomes the question.

Common deficiencies

What actually fails inspection.

Four of the findings we come in contact with the most, across every system type. None are exotic, and all four are straightforward to correct once someone looks for them.

Inherited a system?

We onboard systems installed by other contractors. First visit is an inventory and a condition report — priced, itemized, no surprises.

01

Batteries past their service life

A sealed lead-acid battery is a four-year part, not a ten-year part. It reads fine on a voltmeter and still fails the load test — which means the panel has no standby capacity the moment utility power drops.

NFPA 72 §14.4.3.2

02

A closed sprinkler control valve

The most common reason a sprinkler system does nothing during a fire. It is invisible from the floor, free to correct, and it is why valve position is checked at every single inspection.

NFPA 25 §13.3

Why closed control valves fail sprinkler systems
03

An enclosure that no longer holds agent

Every cable pull and remodel leaks a little more. Clean agent that cannot hold concentration for the required hold time is a system that discharges and does not extinguish.

NFPA 2001 §5.5.3.4

How room integrity testing works
04

A monitoring path that was never verified

Phone lines get cut over during an upgrade and the panel reports trouble to an empty room. Every annual should end with the monitoring center confirming what they actually received.

No rip-and-replace pitch on the first visit. We hold current manuals and parts references for every line above — when a system genuinely can't be maintained any longer, we'll show you why before we quote a replacement.
