Steele Services, Inc. collects only the information you choose to give us — a name, contact details, and facts about your building — for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and delivering fire protection services.

What we collect

Contact form submissions (name, company, email, phone, and the systems you tell us about), email correspondence, and standard technical logs our hosting provider records to keep the site running.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and move through it — which pages are read, which searches lead here, and where people leave. Google sets cookies to do this and receives the data it collects, including your IP address and general location. We use it to improve the site, not to identify you, and we do not combine it with the information you send us through the contact form. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Text messages

We send text messages to our own technicians and staff — a weekly request for photographs and notes from the field. Mobile numbers for this are given to us directly by the people who receive the messages, and are used only to send them. Message frequency is about one message a week. Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are never shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Numbers collected for text messaging are not passed to anyone outside the company except the messaging provider that delivers the message on our behalf.

What we do with it

We use your information to respond to you, schedule and document work, and maintain the service records your compliance depends on. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside the company except as needed to perform the work you asked for (for example, filing a backflow certification with a water utility that requires it) or as required by law.
